Personalized Care Navigation Keeps You at Home
This is why all Springpoint Choice members are paired with personal care navigators dedicated to providing the one-on-one attention that could help you age in place and remain at home longer.
In many ways, your care navigator becomes an extension of your family, getting to know you, your loved ones and what is important to you. Their goal is simple — to be there for you and your family when you need our support.
While at least one face-to-face meeting with your care navigator is required annually, even when you are healthy, ongoing contact will be tailored to your wishes and the recommendation of your care navigator. Springpoint Choice members love the peace of mind that comes with having an outside expert opinion. If your care navigator sees a cause for alarm, you can count on them to be ready with a plan before it escalates.
Superior Financial Protection
Even with a great long-term care insurance policy, your coverage is not without limitations. For example, before you start receiving benefit payments from your insurer, you’ll typically be required to pay out-of-pocket during what is referred to as an “elimination” or “waiting” period. During this time, you will be responsible for paying out of pocket for any long-term care services you may need. With Springpoint Choice, there is no elimination period to worry about, so your benefits begin right away.

If at some point you need rehabilitative care or a more permanent skilled nursing or memory care living arrangement, you can choose from the services offered by our unique Life Plan Communities. This gives you the flexibility to select a location near your current home or, if your family lives in a different area, to find a location near them. And, if you ever need to relocate outside of the Springpoint service area, we’ll work with you to make arrangements outside of New Jersey or Delaware.
The Springpoint Choice team has always been committed to supporting and welcoming LGBT older adults, if and when, they are in need of receiving in-home care. To underscore this commitment, the organization made it a priority to receive formal training to stay relevant, and learn how to better connect and care for the LGBT aging community.
